Message from Secretary

It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction for us at Hamara Sankalp, to familiarize you with the endeavour’s of the organization. The organization was formed for the overall upliftment of the weaker sections of the society so that they may also lead a better life and contribute to the sustainable development of our nation.

Over the years, since its establishment from 2001, Hamara Sankalp has moved ahead in the direction, of social and economic upliftment of the downtrodden rural & Urban families of the Delhi (Slum), rural part of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Chhattisgarh, Nagaland , Maharashtra and Jammu & Kashmir (UT) .

Over the years, Hamara Sankalp has moved ahead in the direction of providing inputs for Skill development programmes and serving more youth than the previous years, Capacity building to sustainable livelihoods through Income Generation Activities to higher numbers of women and youths, Training Advocacy to help and aware people of society. We served even higher numbers of women and children under our Advocacy programmes. The disparity and exploitation of the people, along with the nature’s injustice & fury to the undivided I, was the driving force that inspired the group to play their role in social building. The focus of these social builders was to create such an atmosphere where everyone could enjoy basic human needs. The feeling was to relieve people from over dependence on nature and save their own created way. It emphasized on providing basic inputs to the people to become self- reliant in all means.

It is a issue of pleasure that the name of the organization was approved by State Institute of Rural Development, Imphal (Manipur) as a training Institute under Ministry of Rural Development website www.ruraldiksha.nic.in .

I would like to thank my fellow workers, volunteer’s donors and various funding agencies who have contributed to our achievements and to the continued growth as a development organization and entrusted Hamara Sankalp and enabled us to meet our aims and objectives in a satisfactory manner.
